We, at C&G, are focused on caring for the environment while saving energy and reducing costs for our clients. That is why renewable sources of energy and combined heat and power (CHP) are an extremely important area in which C&G offers state-of-the-art solutions aimed at more efficient use of energy and reducing carbon emissions.
One of the C&G’s largest projects was an extremely challenging project to implement a new natural gas-fired combined heat and power (CHP) unit at the Šiška Heating Plant. The removal of the existing plant, design, supply, commissioning and testing of the new plant was completed in just 15 months, which was a remarkable feat from a contractor’s point of view. We built two solar power plants for our own needs, with a rated power capacity of 999 kWp, and upgraded the Regional Waste Management Centre Ljubljana with a bio-gas cogeneration unit.
